Disney Keys to Leadership Excellence

The Walt Disney Company is a storytelling company. The Disney product thrives on its ability to tell a story that connects to people’s emotions and the understanding and appreciation for this “power of story” contributes to the Disney difference in leadership.

In applying the “power of story”, Disney leader recognize that the people they lead are doing the same thing that an audience does with a character in a story: They are observing the behaviours of the leader to determine what the leader values. If the leader doesn’t “walk the talk”, both in productivity and behaviour, then his or her credibility is lost in the eyes of those that he or she leads. Every leader is telling a story about what he or she values.

The Disney Keys to Quality Service are the result of half a century’s experience in exceeding customer expectations in the face of competition, growth and the public’s ever-changing tastes and attitudes. This Disney Institute program will show you the importance of attention to detail and how we train our Cast Members (employees) to treat our Guests (customers) as VIPs.

While the Disney organisation is not perfect, it has never lost sight of Walt’s goal to “give the public everything you can give them”. As a result, Disney has been successfully able to keep pace with progress while remaining firmly grounded in the traditions and values of The Walt Disney Company.

If you wish to attend 2 masterclasses (full day) the cost will be £350 + VAT per place.
